Presented is a very nice pair of sterling silver forks made by Blackinton &
Co. in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The forks are done in the BLS10 pattern which was first produced in 1905. This is an elegant pattern of flowers and scrolls, with little diamond shapes joined between the tines and lovely pierced designs in the fork itself. The handles are monogrammed with P on the front.
The forks are hallmarked with the maker's mark for Blackinton & Co., Sterling, and Pat.1905.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The forks popular are luncheon sized at 6 inches long. Of course these are also great for salad, fruit, or dessert.
The weight is 53.8 grams or 1.89 ounces.
