Lee Blue Denim Flat Front High Waist Vintage 80s Straight Leg Jeans popular S

This great pair of vintage 80s Lee jeans feels as crisp as the day they were first bought.
The blue denim coloring is deep, highlighted with orange-gold top stitching. The high rise waist has generous belt loops and a leather back patch tag.
The pockets have the signature Lee wavy line stitch through the center. The front has nicely deep hand pockets and the customary smaller “watch pocket”.
The legs are straight cut, with a double stitch and surged outer seams, single stitch and surge on the inner seams.

No holes, stains, or tears.
There is a lightened line down the center of each leg, front and back. There are two small snags on the wearer's left leg, at the side of the knee.
A few wisps of denim strings are still stuck in the stitching, and a small paper tag is still stuck in a leg cuff seam from manufacturing. I did wash these when found to freshen from storage, but it does not appear they have seen very many other washings.
They do not show the usual signs of wear such as whiskering, creasing, or wear on the leather tag.

Shown on a mannequin with a 23.5” waist and 36” hips. They fit her well, but she doesn't have the benefit of a flexible body to fill them out to their full potential.

Tag size is vintage “10 Med”, but sizes have shifted over the years, so measurements are better for judging fit.
