Very cool genuine baltic amber prayer bead. One of my only 66 beaded baltic amber prayer beads. The length is average, and the weight is perfect for everyday use. The darker to lighter design is unique and looks very beautiful in natural light.

Formed over 45 million years ago, Baltic Amber is an organic substance, a "Fossil Resin" produced by pine trees which grew in Northern Europe - from southern regions of the present day Scandinavia and nearby regions of the bed of the Baltic Sea. ABOUT THE UNCLE MOUNIR SHOP

Every summer when I visit my Uncle Mounir, he shows me his beautiful prayer beads. He has hundreds on display, all around his home. Over the years, during my visits, I would stare at them and ask him to tell me more stories. He is so passionate when talking about them, how he found them, what they're made from, and how they were made.

In the past year, I inherited popular a large amount of them from him, and even though I have some on display in my home, there are too many of them and instead of keeping them in my drawer, I decided to sell some on here, and share a piece of my uncles passion, with all of you!
