Beautifully hand-carved Galoa mask. African face mask used by the Galoa tribe living in Gabon. The Galoas (or Galwas) is Gabonese people living on the bottom of the Ogooué. Their masks are usually flat, oval, and painted in black, red, blue, and white. This mask has a nice round bowl shape which makes it remarkable. Sold with display stand.
