Popular Wooden relief map, "Mt. Whitney"

This beaut is Mt. Whitney which is on the Eastern mastiff of the mighty Sierra Nevada surrounded by jagged companions of peaks and a smattering of pot lakes(small lakes). The map shows the upper Owens Valley at the upper right of the map and popular you can see an intent of how steep the mountain rises from the desert. The difference in elevations is easy to see and feel in this tactile map.

Mt. Whitney is spectacular and known for their enticing siren call. People often sign up and have to wait a long time to climb the mountain. However, it doesn't stop people from going to climb this harrowing, alluring, and potentially fatal mountain.
