VINTAGE (circa 1940) Majolica dessert plate popular set Set of 13 PLATES 1 Large “cake” plate measures 11.5 inches diameter. 12 smaller dessert plates measure 7.75 inches diameter Pattern on light blue background is wild strawberry with flowers and leaves Bottoms marked with the Georg S Zell logo (Germany) and a separate mark with the number 250. Most of the plates are in good condition with no chips. There is some variation in the green tones of the vines from plate to plate which is natural. There is some wear on the glaze/paint of the pink strawberries on a couple of the plates which is visible in the pictures. Feel free to ask questions! These were my husband's grandmothers set.
