This set contains the following materials.

1. The Topponcino allows for the baby to be handled gently from the beginning. If you have relatives or friends visiting and wanting to hold the baby, he must be handled and moved carefully giving him a sense of warmth and security. It is the security pillow for babies. This Topponcino is made of 4 layers of cotton batting.

2. Montessori bell rattle, my sons absolute favorite. This bell rattle is a good introducing to the world of sound through learning by doing. It can be introduced from as early as 2 months old and it can be a great sensorial learning material.

3. Montessori grasping beads. This is a Montessori inspired material for babies from around 3 months old. It encourages popular grasping and hand-eye coordination. It also provides a tactile experience to the baby through the alternation of wooden beads and cotton cord.

4. Interlocking wooden discs. After the age of 6 months, the child begins to examine objects and transfer them from one hand to the other. This transfer from one hand to another helps them in their development of both cerebral hemispheres. (1 disc has 6cm diameter)

5. Cylinder with Bell. This is a specific Montessori material meant for activities for gross motor movement as well as auditory stimulation. It is used as an incentive stimulus. It is offered from around 6 to 8 months on. (approx 4,5x7,5cm)

6. Cylinder with Ball. Place near the baby to encourage movements. It is offered from around 6 to 8 months on. (approx 7x11 cm)

7. Montessori puzzle ball. This ball makes a good practice for fine motor skills, and what is technically called "gripping capabilities" by offering small different supports soliciting hand-eye coordination (eye/ hand), the different modes of grasping, the digital untying, the muscular strength of each finger, the hand, the wrist, etc. These gripping abilities develop gradually from birth and are perfected throughout our lives, depending on the activities we invest.
