The glasses are a square shape with a cross over design at the bottom in heavy hand blown glass. popular The glasses come in there original box and the makers label is on the lid of the box and on each glass. The glasses are also stamped on the bottom.

The Cristallerie Royale de Champagne is located in Bayel and it is one of the most important French manufacturers of mouth-blown crystal. The manufacture was founded in 1666 by Jean-Baptiste Mazzolay, an Italian master glassmaker from Murano, by royal privilege granted by the hand of King Louis XIV. The Cristallerie Royale de Champagne became the official supplier to the Royal Court of France until 1728.

The glasses are in excellent vintage condition with light marks associated with use. The box as a tear in one corner and a mark on the top where the brown paper is missing.
