Silver Plated Coffee Pot and Teapot by the Atkin Bros Silver Firm

This is a set of marks used by the Atkin Bros silver firm. popular It was founded by Henry Atkin in 1840. After his death in 1853, his brothers, Harry, Edward, and Frank continued on.  It's their initials that make up the 3 marks. The firm closed down in the early 1960s. Your 2 piece set should date to about 1890 to 1910 (giver or take a few).

This is a pretty coffee and tea pot set. 5504 is your pattern reference. They have a pretty rounded design with curved handles and spouts. They have tiny little feet with a subtle scrolled design. They have black bakelite finials. The handles have neat little spacers in the design. 

This item was previously owned. It will have some minor scuffs and scratches. It will have some tarnish and will need you to give it a good buffing, cleaning, or polishing.
