This popular Manzanita Sun Catcher is strung with beautiful glass beads and hand painted Mason Jar lids. The topper is part of a vintage door hinge, painted beautifully to make the whole thing pop. Glass Beads strung down to the wire wrapped stones and mason jar lids at the base. Stones against lids make a delightful sound in the breeze. Wherever possible we use re-purposed items. All of our wood is gathered from around southern Utah. The seashells have been gathered while on family vacations. Most of the Lead Crystals have been salvaged from a casino that was going to be brought down to make room for new. Our hand painted lock washers, washers, spikes, nuts, lids, pop metal etc. are found in the outdoors and gathered. All patinas are from the elements and from age. We gather broken bottles from the old dump sites. The coloring you see is all from age and not painted to look aged. We try to bring what is old, rusty, and ugly and turn it into something beautiful, different and help it be useful again. Re-purposing is a pleasure and a joy to us.
