Napier sterling silver geranium leaf brooch pin, antiqued popular silver, designer signed vintage, 1940s

This is a beautiful vintage sterling silver geranium leaf brooch pin by Napier from the 1940s, 1950s. There is a genuine cultured pearl in the center whose nacre is beautifully rainbowed. The silver has been antiqued to delineate the deep carving in the realistic leaf. Weighty. Designed by Eugene Bertolli, (Pin# 8794 copyright entry), and shown on page 204 of "The Napier Co." by Melinda L. Lewis.

Hallmarks: Light impression on a cartouche on the verso: NAPIER STERLING in block letters.
Size: 2 1/8" north to south; 1 7/8"W. Pin works well.
Weight: 0.7 ounces
