Product code: 109 Artist’s Impression: a pen and watercolour painting based on popular your Architect’s plans and drawings

If you're looking for an artist's impression of your proposed development, whether it be your new home or an office/industrial development, you've come to the right place.

I can produce a pen & watercolour painting of the proposed development based on your architect's plans / drawings and photos of the proposed location provided by you (so I can add the appropriate background and surroundings if required).

The painted area will be approximately 12”x8” (A4) on a larger sheet of high quality watercolour paper. This is a standard size so an off-the-shelf mount and frame should easily be available should you want to frame the painting.

My work is produced using the best professional materials: on acid free heavyweight watercolour paper, using Winsor & Newton Professional paints and Faber-Castell waterproof pens.

I will decide on whether to use a 'landscape' (horizontal) or 'portrait' (vertical) composition depending on what I think works best for your building, although if you have any specific preference please let me know at time of order.

I charge £110 for an artist's impression viewed from one direction. If you require a second view from an alternative direction the total cost for the two will be £180. This price includes a .jpeg file of the final painting(s) which will be emailed to you.

Packaging and shipping is free of charge. Your painting(s) will be supplied unframed, packaged carefully and securely in a cellophane sleeve and hard-backed envelope to ensure it is well protected during transit. I use Royal Mail Signed For in the UK, and Royal Mail International Standard for international destinations.

My aim is to despatch your completed painting within two - three weeks of receiving your plans, photos and instructions although I can sometimes manage a quicker turnaround. You will receive an electronic copy of your painting as soon as it's finished but I have no control over the time taken by the delivery service to get the original to you, so please take delivery time into account if you need the original by a particular date.

Ordering process:

1. If you require a shorter turnaround please contact me before ordering to confirm I can deliver as required.

2. Place you order and email me your architect's plans for the building, in .pdf format if possible, and if required, a clear, good quality reference photo or photos of the location of the proposed development.

3. Include any additional requests or preferences in your message, e.g. any additions to the scene, anything you would prefer excluded and the colour scheme of the proposed building if this is not given on the plans.

4. I'll email you an image of my initial drawing to make sure you're happy with the composition before I add colour. At this stage you can also give details of any changes you'd like me to make.

5. When the painting is complete I'll email you an image of the work for your approval and give you the opportunity to suggest any final changes, which I'll include if possible.

6. Then just sit back and wait for your painting(s) to arrive.

Copyright:

For the avoidance of doubt, your painting is created with the full permission of the buyer (given through the act of purchase) to use the supplied plans and images solely to create the commissioned work.

Similarly, for the avoidance of doubt, copyright in the finished artwork remains with me, the artist, unless specifically agreed otherwise. However, I grant the buyer permission to use the painting(s) as required popular, provided I'm given credit for creating the work by displaying “Artist's impression by GordonMcLemanArt, https://GordonMclemanArt.etsy.com" alongside or on the image.
