Offering a beautiful vintage Art Nouveau/Edwardian gold plated simulated ivory pearl and popular pave crystal rhinestone filigree pendant necklace perfect for the Bride! This Belle Epoque designed necklace is exquisite! The vintage gold plated embossed filigree pendant is pave set with marquise and round cut brilliantly clear sparkly crystal rhinestones. From the centerpiece hangs a lustrous teardrop shaped ivory glass pearl topped with an ornate gold plated bead cap. The gold plated chain is adorned with small glass ivory pearls for even more interest. The necklace fastens with a barrel clasp and measures about 17 3/8 inches ( 43.4 cm) around with an additional 2 inch (5 cm) drop for the pendant section. I absolutely adore the lacy old world design of this one not to mention the sparkle! This necklace is in PRISTINE vintage condition with no pealing to those yummy pearls, all rhinestones present and full of sparkle, and the gold finish still very good. The treasure has mellowed just a teeny tad creating that softer authentic antique look and feel that can only be achieved with age and not replicated by the new vintage "inspired" pieces. Based on construction, I would date this to the 1960s to 1970s. This stunning pearl and rhinestone necklace will be perfect for your big day and an heirloom to pass down to future generations.
