1954-57 Hjördis Oldfors Ceramic Bowl Tray Upsala Ekeby popular Manhattan 5050

Mid-century 1954-57 Upsala Ekeby "Manhattan" small ceramic bowl designed by Hjördis Oldfors, features a diamond shape with rounded corners, semi-glossy finish, bottom stamped ""UE 5050", made in Sweden.

Hjördis Oldfors (1920-2014) is one of the well-known representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. She was one of the leading designers for the Upsala-Ekeby factory in the 1950s and 1960s. Oldfors is represented at numerous museums in popular Sweden.

In very good vintage condition with some minuscule imperfections.
