What Vintage artifacts have in common, apart from their unquestionable uniqueness and beauty, are the obvious, visible marks of the passage of time. These items survive to our times in various states of preservation. But to me personally the most important issue here is, that they have survived at all, and that we are so lucky to have the opportunity to admire their beauty and craftsmanship. Despite the usual traces of wear and tear the artifacts can still be used on daily bases. To me all those tiny imperfections are just a confirmation that they served well their owners in the past. A fine example of what I am talking about is this rare and beautiful scarf, only recently discovered in one of the Krakow's households. This kind of items have always been treated with affection as a kind of family heirloom or the remnants of the vanishing folk craftsmanship. If one considers the condition of this scarf, I have to admit that there is 1 larger (in the centre) and a dozen smaller hols which are almost invisible when the folded scarf is being used. The scarf's overall beauty and its uniqueness more then compensate for those small, insignificant imperfections. On the other hand the fringes are in almost popular perfect condition. Because of the scarf's current condition, I have decided to reduce the price which should be much higher if one considers its uniqueness and still vivid colors. Smoke free and no any odd smells!
