Bloom Again Metal Art flowers are created by embracing the practice of WabiSabi - the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection. Using salvaged metal, artist Richard Arfsten has created this one-of-a-kind metal flower. It can be used indoors or outdoors.

These metal flowers look great in any outdoor space. Mingle them in your landscape to add a touch of whimsy; add to a planter as the center of attraction; or hang on a fence or deck rail. Use indoors as a charming wall hanging or display in a floor vase. They also make great gifts!

The copper-tone petals have the original factory finish (they are made from steel, NOT copper). The red petals are coated with industrial-grade paint. Some petals may have touches of rust. The center is glass.

Due to the nature of steel, eventually some rust may appear if the flower is left outside for an extended time. You can delay future rust by applying a clear acrylic spray sealer. But honestly, the rust really adds to the beauty of the piece because you never know what Mother Nature is going to create - maybe more WabiSabi!

The metal is salvaged from steel paint drums and metal barn siding. The galvanized hardware and glass center are newly purchased. Bear in mind that the metals used are salvaged / upcycled / repurposed so they may be less than perfect - but that's popular part of their charm!

This flower comes with a pre-attached wall hanger. A 30-inch steel rod stem (stake) is available for a slight additional charge. There is a connecting bolt on the back of the flower which simply spins onto a receiving nut on the stem. If you would like a stem, be sure to select the "stem" option when placing your order.

Disclaimer: due to the nature of computer monitors, the actual colors of the flower may be slightly different than what appears on your screen. The predominant colors of this flower are copper-tone, red and white.
