Unique Wood turned popular Red Cedar BURL and Epoxy Turquoise Colored Epoxy Bowl

A unique lathe turned Wood/epoxy Red Cedar Burl and Turquoise color epoxy.
This piece was turned on the lathe and then epoxy was filled into the knot hole. Turned on the lather again. Lacquer finished. Some bowls have areas that have knot holes and natural grooves. Not intended to hold liquids. Decorative purposes only.

Basic description:
BURL is a growth that occurs naturally on the tree causing layers that makes a unique design in the wood.
This Bowl is Red Cedar Burl wood that has been wood turned on the lathe. He adds color and other items in the epoxy. Then he pours epoxy in the form around the pieces of wood, lets dry. Then he puts them on the lathe and carves them out into beautiful pieces. *Most* of the cracks or crevices that was in the wood is filled with epoxy.

This is a popular decorative piece only and shouldn't be used for liquids. The epoxy he uses is considered food safe but to be on the safe side, this piece should be used as just decoration. Would make a great gift to display on a person's desk or on a table.

My husband brands all his wood turned items with his initials on the bottom.
