This wonderful textile is a hand woven, antique wool and linen mix sack from Europe dating from the 19th century ~ This is an example of our sack-hack! ~ ~These sacks often have a stamp so that the sack could be returned to the rightful owner after the grain was milled. The uses are endless, pillow fabric, upholstery fabric! I've made place mats out of mine! I just cut each half into half again. They are my favorite use ! You can add so much charm to any table. ~ ~ We show both sides of this textile in the photographs. Often one side is more interesting, less faded or perhaps just brighter in tone! MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately 20 inches wide by 38 inches long

CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. It can be machine washed on cold with fabric softener and no detergent, then hung to dry. You can also tumble dry for just a few minutes to further soften the fabric.
