* A little about the process of making this sign!
Each wood board is sanded and painted a base popular coat mixture of browns, grays and blues. This is done to simulate old barn wood. Next, I paint the white topcoat. Once the topcoat is dry, I sand around the edges as well as anywhere that has significant texture. This is done to reveal the wood grain, knots and anything else that makes this board unique! This step also brings all the base coat colors to the surface and gives the sign its character! Lastly, I add a protective sealant for durability.

* I use reclaimed when it is available. I also use new lumber.

* This is a great sign for entryways, family rooms and dining areas!

* Each sign is unique, no two are the same. When working with reclaimed wood there are often nail holes, small knot holes etc., This is what adds to the charm of the sign!
