Named by whalers because they were the "right" whales to kill, southern right whales practice a unique behaviour called tail sailing, where they raise their tails out of the water and allow the wind to push against it, moving the entire whale.
This plushie is made with markings accurate to photos of pygmy right whales. A portion of the sale of this plush will be donated to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.
He is approximately 15 inches (38 cm) long, 4 inches (10 cm) wide and 8 inches (16 cm) tall, and is made of soft minky fabric. He has acrylic safety eyes, and is stuffed with polyfibre stuffing. His fins are backed with quilt batting.
Please note that due to small parts and delicate hand-stitching, this orca plushie is not suitable for popular children. He is a collectors items for teenagers and adults.
If he gets dirty, please clean him with a damp cloth, as he's surface washable only.
