Vintage Waterford Crystal 6" Round Killeen Clear Heavy Footed Bowl Artist Signed Signed by John Connolly, a Waterford Chief Designer and Master Glass Cutter. Dated 12-25-93. Retail popular price on the 6” was $98 in 1994. John Connolly was a Master Cutter for 16 years, dedicating more than 30 years to Waterford, he cut some of the most famous trophies and presentation pieces, as well as designing some of Waterford Designer's Gallery pieces. This piece was most likely signed by him at Waterford Signing Event. I find the date inscription of Christmas Day to be kind of special, but that is just my personal sentiment. There are a few scuffs on the bottom of the foot, commensurate witht the age of the piece. Hard to believe 1993 was almost 30 years ago, right?! Otherwise no chips or cracks, no box either as this was an estate find. Ships UPS ground because of the weight of the piece.
