DESCRIPTION OF THIS LISTING
This is a 100% ORIGINAL, HAND-PAINTED CUSTOM OIL PAINTING of your pet. I use only the highest quality materials and oil paints! (The painting depicted here is an example. It is to give you a good idea of my painting style and my work quality. It is not for sale).

Your custom pet portrait painting will be create for you from a reference photo that you send me. This is a HAND-PAINTED item and will be one of a kind. I send you a tangible product (stretched canvas with oil paint). I need a good clear photo (high resolution as possible) preferably in natural lighting. The painting will be made of the one photo of your choosing/preference. But in addition, if possible, I would like additional photos for reference. Please send photos from different angles to capture different characteristics of your pet since I am unable to meet your pet in person. I am an artist with 20+ years of experience so I have a good feel on how to add the perfect touches to make this the perfect piece for you!

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Select the size of your preference from the pull-down menu above.
2.Message me via Etsy message or e-mail (monicacascioart@gmail.com). Send me the following:
-A main good quality photo (the painting will be created using this photo) and any other reference photos that will help me create the perfect pet portrait.
-Add any add'tl info or custom requests or questions you may have.

THE PROCESS
Once I receive your order and we've finalized the details, this is what happens:
1.I will start on your custom order!
2.I complete a sketch of your pet on to the canvas (size of your choice).
3.I start painting your custom oil painting.
4.Within 7 - 10 days I will send you a preliminary photo of your painting.
5.Once that prelim work is OKed by you I will continue with final details. I will take photos during each step and those will be available to you so you can see the whole process from blank canvas through the completed portrait.
6.I will finish your painting with a varnish coating that will protect your painting for a lifetime (matt or gloss depending on your preference)
7.I will have your custom pet portrait completed in a general timeframe of 2 to 3 weeks (includes drying time)**

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
You will receive a beautiful gallery quality oil painting of your awesome dog, cat, parrot, turtle, fish, etc! Whatever type of pet parent you are… you will have an art piece that will be treasured for a lifetime. I paint on staple free, gallery wrapped 1.5” thick cotton canvas with sides painted. So framing is not necessary (and that saves you $$$). This piece will be ready to hang as soon as you get it.

* I can add additional pets popular into one portrait for an additional charge. The price stated in the pull down menu per canvas size is for one (1) pet. Any additional charge depends on the number of additional pets and the size of canvas you have selected. Message me regarding any questions you may have on adding pets to the painting.

** Outside of the perimeters listed, I can prepare a completely custom size or look for you. For custom needs, sizes or other inquiries select the "Request a custom order” button. You will be sent to a dialogue box where you can specify your requirements.
