Abstract Embroidery over acrylic popular pour- Blue and Purple Circles

Two embroidered circles blending into one another, stitched over a silvery acrylic pour. This was one of my first experiments with abstract embroidery and layering shapes, and drew me into popular the circular and geometric designs that I now love! Like most of my work, this design was done on the fly, with patterns and colors decided on instinct. With every new piece, I try to come up with entirely original ways to use geometric shapes, thread layers, and paint to make unique and beautiful pieces.
